- Goals Collage
Students will bring to class minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 pictures, magazine clipping, photo, or any type of art that is a visual image of what they hope to accomplish for one of their goals. For example, one student might have pictures of a stethoscope, white coat, scrubs, etc…, which represents their goal of being a doctor.
- Adversity Research
Each student will research either a person in the public arena or a person whom they know personally who has achieved success while experiencing difficult times and adversity. While researching, each student will compile a list of qualities that assisted that person in achieving excellence. After compiling the list, each student will write a one page double space report on the qualities of that person, identify qualities that they would like to develop in their own lives, and the goals it will take to accomplish them.
Typing Format: One page double spaced, 12-13 font size, legible (readable) font style.
NOTE: Please include name, date, period, and title of report (Adversity Research). You will have the option to share your report with the class during advisory for 10 bonus points to be added to a low grade (sharing with class is optional).
